Happy Holidays Subscriber!

Besides sending you best wishes for a peaceful

holiday season and

a happy, healthy and successful new year,

I am writing to let you know that I

drew my Painting Giveaway name yesterday

and the winner is:

Michelle!

I took a video as I drew the name ... it's a bit awkward &

hokey, but I want to show you that it was done fair and square!

Click here to see the video of me (well, my hand) drawing the winner's name.

Thank you to all of you who entered the drawing.

I am so happy this painting will go to a good home; a fellow painter, a very good multi-talented artist (and previous collector!).

The only thing new-ish on my website is the main page painting, Mount Stroller White. It is not quite ready to go yet so is not "live" on the site.

(Needs a frame, varnish, etc etc ...)

So ... this is a short and sweet newsletter to say how much I appreciate you. I know many of you personally, I thank you for supporting my art, and I love the correspondence we have at times!

See you in the new year!

Juneau's xmas whale!

Juneau-ites know this beautiful sculpture by Skip Wallen,

located near the Juneau/Douglas bridge. Photo was taken and doctored

up for the holidays by Jay Crondahl.
